A little background: Miroku is a monk from the series InuYasha. He is known for his..erm... affections toward women, as well as his cursed wind tunnel hand. He inherited it from his father, who eventually succumbed to his own cursed hand and was pulled into it. The wind tunnel acts like a black hole, sucking everything into it, and I do mean everything: Horses, people, buildings, rocks, trees, size is of no matter. He keeps it contained with his sacred prayer beads when he's not using it. Because he fears he will eventually be sucked into his own wind tunnel, and his bloodline ended, Miroku asks every pretty woman he encounters to bear his children. The target of most of his affections, however, lies in Sango, the demon slayer. Often Miroku will win her over, merely to ruin the moment by fondling her behind. Sango usually puts him in his place with a hearty slap. Even after the slap, Miroku always has a grin on his face, having been successful at his attempt, if only for a moment.

I started this custom a year ago. In fact, the staff has been done for that long, lol. Last week, I peeled off all the clay I'd been working on, wiped his entire body clean of paint, and started over with apoxie. He started out as a pegasus pony (since I needed him to rear up), whose wings I lopped off, just so the correct hoof would contain the magnet, thereby producing a functional wind tunnel hoof. I created the grinning demon with a button magnet in it so that Miroku can suck that demon into his wind tunnel. ^_^

Hopefully, his facial expression says it all: He has obviously just patted Sango's bottom, as he wears the imprint of her hand and his typical grin. His mane and tail are dollyhair's saran in Raven Black. Special thanks to Tina who sent me the hank free of charge.
